Portland, Oregon's Ox restaurant posted an eye-opening Instagram on New Year's Day. The Argentine-inspired eatery displayed a mass of Post-its that detailed all of the dietary restrictions from customers on one night of service.
In response to the tailored menu options from the restaurant's prix-fixe dinner on New Year's Eve, patrons shared their allergies and special diets with the restaurant staff. From gluten-free, to vegetarian, to allergies to crabs and mangos, these customers covered all the bases.
Ox chefs Greg and Gabrielle Quiñónez Denton remarked that the list was "nothin' special," on their Instagram post.
We can't help but think that a certain "Portlandia" episode, in which the city hosts an Allergy Pride parade, is actually that far from reality.
