Following in the footsteps of other notable political figures like Vice President Joe Biden, Sen. John McCain, Sen. Barbara Boxer and former Sen. Olympia Snowe, First Lady Michelle Obama will be 
making a cameo appearance on NBC’s hit comedy Parks and Recreation.
Michelle Obama’s special appearance will be on the show’s season finale April 24 from 8-9pm ET. Mrs. Obama’s scene in the episode, titled “Moving Up,” was filmed in late February in Miami, where she celebrated investments in healthier out-of-school programs as part of Let’s Move initiative dedicated to solving the challenge of childhood obesity. (You may have seen photos and videos of her and Parks and Recreation star Amy Poehler at that event.)
