TV One acquires cable rights to hit FOX drama Empire

Fans of FOX’s mega-hit Empire will still be able to get their fix this summer following the end of Season 2 and as they eagerly await Season 3. TV One announced yesterday that it has acquired cable rights to re-broadcast Empire, and will add it to its summer programming lineup following the original-run’s second season finale in May on FOX.
