Don't Drop the Ball This Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is a time to be thankful for all the blessings that have been generously bestowed upon us -- family, friends and good health to name a few. Sometimes we forget about our many good fortunes and we often take them for granted. It is by no malicious fault of our own as we are only human. We get caught up in our daily activities and the hustle and bustle of life. This holiday season is a perfect time to prioritize the things that mean the most to us.

I have often said that life is like a juggling act -- the balls that bounce back when they are dropped consist of your work, social activities and material things. The ones that do not bounce back consist of your family, children and spiritual well being -- those are made of glass and they shatter when dropped.

This Thanksgiving make the conscious decision to not "drop the ball" when it comes to juggling the things that matter most. Seek out the people, or reflect on the memories and experiences, that have brought so much joy to your life and say thank you.

Happy Thanksgiving and Thank You.
