Glasgow Hospital Treating Patient For Ebola

The Scottish government confirmed on Monday that a health care worker who returned from Sierra Leone on Sunday is being treated for Ebola in a hospital in Glasgow.

In a statement on its website, the Scottish government said that the patient was admitted to the hospital on Monday morning and has been isolated.

"Our health service has the expertise and facilities to ensure that confirmed Ebola cases such as this are contained and isolated effectively minimizing any potential spread of the disease," First Minister Nicola Sturgeon said.
