More than 400,000 people showed up on Sunday for the People's Climate March in New York City, rallying in solidarity with a planet that's facing an onslaught of climate change, greenhouse gases and rising seas. Thousands of organizations including students, faith groups, labor unions, businesses and environmental activists participated in the march, but it's the youngest among them that will have to inherit the future many of us will leave behind.
The Huffington Post spoke to dozens of kids that came out for the march, hoping to protect the world they'll soon grow into. Their answers -- and unyielding hope for the future -- were beyond inspiring. Take a look at the video above.
