So last night’s Grey’s Anatomy, “How to Save a Life,” sent fans of Dr. Derek “McDreamy” Shepherd (Patrick Dempsey) throwing themselves over a cliff en masse. I bore witness to my wife’s own personal “he’s-going-to-die-no-he-isn’t-yes-he-is-GET-THE-CT-SCAN!-OMG-HE’S-DEAD!” emotional wringer.
